ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.10.2018 and permit him to join duty as Driver with continuity of service along with monetary benefits from the date of recalling the suspension order in Parvai:O.Na.Thu/D1/A.Na/3182, dated 15.09.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Jeyaram, learned counsel, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.Though the prayer sought for is to permit the petitioner to join duty as Driver with continuity of service along with monetary benefits, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner now seeks consideration of the petitioner's representation, dated 03.10.2018 only with regard to regularisation, for which, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection. 4.In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.10.2018 only with regard to regularisation and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
