Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the the respondent for contempt of Court on his wilful disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 29.09.2020 made in W.P.(MD) No.12958 of 2020. Prayer in WP(MD). 12958/ 2020 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to sanction the compound interest @ 18 precentage p.a for the belated payment of Retiral Benefits viz Provident fund, Gratuity, Leave Salary, Computation of Pension etc within the period that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that a part amount had already been settled in favour of the writ petitioner and the balance amount will be settled on or before 31.05.2022.
