This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.52 of 2013 on the file of the respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.52 of 2013 was completed and a charge sheet was also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Shencottah on 19.07.2013, but the same was returned by the Magistrate on 13.12.2016 for certain compliances. He further submitted that after rectifying the defects, the charge sheet has been represented on 15.12.2016, but the same has not been taken on file.

3. Recording his submission, this petition is closed with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Shencottah to pass appropriate orders on the final report that is said to have been filed by the Police in Crime No.52 of 2013 expeditiously.
