This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection to the petitioner from the 3rd respondent.
2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner is a political activist in a political party. The third respondent indulged in land grabbing activities and the same was questioned by the petitioner, thereby, an attempt was made to murder the petitioner. In this regard, the complaint lodged by the petitioner through post was not considered. Hence, this petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner has sent a complaint only through post on 26.02.2025, thereafter, he has not appeared for enquiry. However, they will complete the enquiry within a period of one week. 4.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to seek police protection and the complaint lodged by the petitioner is pending for enquiry before the respondent police, it is for the petitioner to appear for 2/4
enquiry before the second respondent and the second respondent is directed to dispose of the complaint of the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above directions and observations, this petition stands disposed of.
