ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take appropriate action against the erring third respondent police official in the light of the Lalita Kumari case and consequently direct the first respondent to dispose the second respondent accident report, dated 03.12.2024.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that they already registered a case in Crime No.114 of 2025, dated 05.03.2025. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.

3. Since the prayer is to take appropriate action and already FIR has been registered, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present case.

4. In view of the same, this writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
