ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to fix the correct basic pay to the petitioner based on his date of appointment, after considering his representation dated 30.06.2018 within the time limit as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he was employed as a Trainee in the respondent Corporation from 10.11.1983 and he retired from service on 31.03.2016. The grievance of the petitioner is that he was not sanctioned with the regular revision of pay. Hence, he made several representations in this regard and finally on 30.06.2018. Since the same have not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition is filed before this Court.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

Considering the nature of the relief as sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.06.2018 seeking to fix the correct basic pay and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
