********* [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] We have heard Mr.D.Durai Solaimalai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Baskaran, learned Standing Counsel for Government appearing for the respondents.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction upon the 3rd respondent to consider his representation and issue professional tax receipt and direct the fourth respondent to give police protection.

W.P.[MD]No.7127 of 2021 3.Such a positive direction cannot be granted in this case, especially when the respondents have not given any written instruction to the learned Standing Counsel for Government. The representation was given on 05.01.2021 and reminder was sent on 16.03.2021, even then, the said representation is pending. Therefore, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
