ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to monitor the investigation to be conducted by the third respondent in Crime No.215 of 2016 and to consequently direct the third respondent to file a final report with appropriate sections.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the offence made out, as per the complaint, is under Sections 324, 326, 307 and 506(ii) IPC, the case has been registered in Crime No.215 of 2016 only under Sections 294(b) 323 and 506(ii) IPC by the third respondent and that unless some superior officers monitor the investigation, the investigation will not go on proper way. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the third respondent Police is taking earnest efforts in this case and that the fair investigation is going on.
5.Having regard to the lacuna pointed out by the petitioner, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madurai District is directed to monitor the investigation being conducted by the third respondent in Crime No.215 of 2016 and ensure the filing of final report by the third respondent forthwith.
