ORDER
The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that a criminal case was registered against the writ petitioner under Prevention of Corruption Act. The petitioner was convicted and based on the order of conviction, the competent authority issued an order of termination under Rule 17(c) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the provident fund contribution of the petitioner and other eligible dues are to be settled and in this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader made a submission that the petitioner was already terminated from service on account https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.5661 of 2022 of conviction in a criminal case. However, the eligible dues as applicable under the Rules is to be settled.
4. Thus, the respondents are directed to settle the contribution of the petitioner as per the Rules and other eligible dues to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
