ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the third respondent to provide adequate Police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his employees on the basis of his representation dated 17.08.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. By consent, the Criminal Original Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

goods from the vehicles in their shop at Nagercoil, some third persons trespassed into the shop, threatened the employees not to unload the goods, demanded money from the employees and also gave life threat to them and therefore, anticipating danger, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 17.08.2016 to the third respondent. As there was no response to the same, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that the third respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits. 5.In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
