... Respondents Prayer: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of order passed by this Honourable Court in 19.01.2021 in W.P. (MD) No. 8285 of 2020.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order in C.No.A3/32064/2017 dated 24-10-2019 on the file of the Respondent No.3 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to issue a direction, directing the respondent No.3 to appoint the petitioner (Enrolment No.2805175) in the post of Grade -II Police Constable in Tamil Nadu Spl.Police Youth Brigade, wtihin the time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order passed in W.P. (MD) No. 8285 of 2020 dated 19.01.2021.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents State made a submission that the respondents preferred Writ Appeal in W.A. (MD) No. 2146 of 2021 and an interim order was granted on 01.12.2021 and the same is pending.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a submission that the interim stay was not extended by the Hon'ble Division Bench. However, it is for the contempt petitioner to approach the Hon'ble Division Bench to seek further remedy in this regard as the Writ Appeal is subjudiced before the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court.
