ORDER

The Inspector of Police, Kadayanallur Police Station, Tirunelveli District is suo motu impleaded as the second respondent.

2.Mr.K.Mu.Muthu, learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to take notice for the impleading second respondent. 3.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4.The writ petitioner wants to conduct the petition

mentioned temple along with associated cultural events. I am of the view of that the petitioner can very well be permitted to do so. The petitioner has already given a representation in this regard and he has enclosed the program schedule also. In paragraph 4 of the affidavit, the details have been given. It reads as under:- "I submit that the Kodai Vizha is scheduled as hereunder:- a) 29.04.2019 - From Night 09.00 to 12.00 pm Kummi and Karagattam b) 30.04.2019 - 12.00 am - Poojai. Ponnthattu by children, Mulaipari by Women - 6 to 12 12 a.m-Poojai.

c) 01.05.2019 - Sports events for children and prize distribution functin (full day) d) 02.05.2019 - Pattimandram - 09.00 p.m to 12.00 p.m.

e) 03.05.2019 - Light Music function 09.00 p.m to 12.00 p.m"

5.The respondents are directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the programme as requested. The writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
