To modify the condition No.5(b) imposed in the order passed Crl O.P(MD) No. 1588 of 2025 dt. 28.01.2025 to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the Inspector of Police, Palayamkottai on every Monday and Friday at 10.30 am, instead of appearing before the respondent police on every Monday and Friday at 10.30 am, for a period of 6 weeks.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by this Court, specifically condition No.5(b) of the order made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.1558 of 2025, dated 28.01.2025.

2. Mr.R.Ponkarthikeyan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the first petitioner has symptoms of cancer and is currently taking treatment in the hospital. He further submits that the second petitioner is accompanying with the first petitioner. Hence, they are unable to comply with the condition passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.1558 of 2025, dated 28.01.2025. Therefore, he prays for the modification of condition No.5(b) of the order passed in the said petition.

3. Heard Mr.S.S.Manoj, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and also considering the request made by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to modify the condition stated in Paragraph No.5 (b) of the order in the said petition and the petitioners shall 2/4

report before the Inspector of Police, Palayamkottai Police Station, Tirunelveli District, weekly twice (i.e., on Monday and Friday) at 10.30 a.m., for a period of six weeks from 17.03.2025 and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. sd/- 07.03.2025 / TRUE COPY / /03/2025 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
