Heard the learned counsel on either side.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the first respondent will pass orders on the petition mentioned application under Rule 4 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage of Minerals and Mineral Dealers Rules 2011, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. It is made clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on the merits of the matter. This Court has not given any positive direction to the first respondent to pass orders one way or the other.

4. This Writ petition stands disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
