ORDER

The petitioners have filed this revision to set aside the order, dated 03.03.2022 in I.A.No.165 of 2022 in unnumbered HMP.No..... 2022 on the file of the Judge, Family Court, Madurai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

3. The petitioners have filed the said Interlocutory Application seeking permission to file a divorce petition before the expiry of one year from the date of marriage. The reason stated in the petition for divorce is that the marriage between them was irretrievably broken and there is no chance for reunion. Except the said reason, no other reason was stated in the petition. The reason stated by the petitioners is not a ground to waive the mandatory period of one year for divorce. Hence, the trial Court has rightly dismissed the application. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the order passed by the Court below.

4. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed by confirming the order, dated 03.03.2022 made in I.A.No.165 of 2022 in unnumbered HMP.No..... 2022, on the file of the Judge, Family Court, Madurai. No costs.
