O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with the present petition seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.33 of 2016 on the file of the respondent, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the First Information Report, this Court cannot direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation in Crime No.33 of 2016 and either file a closure report or a charge sheet, as the case may be.
