ORDER

The present petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to celebrate his birthday at his residence on 04.04.2019, at Kattapulinagar, Samayanallur, Madurai District.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Government Advocate submitted that even though the petitioner has proposed to conduct his birthday celebration in his house, for which no permission is required, yet he had approached the second respondent and obtained a permission. Since permission is either not required or even if he considered it still is required and it has been obtained from the second respondent, nothing survives in this petition.

celebration between 10.30 am to 02.00 pm without leading to any law and order situation and he is strictly directed that he shall not distribute any gift and no money should be distributed. 5.The District Electoral Officer may nominate any of his personnel to monitor, if any of the Code of Conduct, as formulated by the Election Commission, is violated.

6.The writ petition is disposed of, as indicated above. No costs.
