O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to conduct a survey of the land comprised in S.Nos.218(1), 218(6), 219(1), 219(3) and 219(7), situated at Ayan Pottalpudur Village, Kadayam, Tenkasi Taluk, Tenkasi District, to fix the four boundaries by considering the petitioner's application dated 02.05.2025 and to issue a survey certificate or an acknowledgment of completion of survey within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been made for the survey of the property in question and for demarcation of its boundaries. Page No. 2 of 5

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first to third respondents, on instructions, would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 02.05.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties including the fourth respondent and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners, the fourth respondent and other interested parties.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
