Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body of the detenu by name Vasanthi, D/o.Kannappayyar, aged about 40 years, wife of the petitioner, Minor.Kiruthika, D/o.K.Kumar, aged about 15 years, daughter of the petitioner and Minor.Sneka, D/o.K.Kumar, aged about 12 years, daughter of the petitioner before this Court and set them at liberty and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to trace out and produce the detenu, namely, Vasanthi, aged 40 years, Minor.Kiruthika, aged 15 years and Minor.Sneka, aged 12 years, who are none other than the wife and daughters of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.

3. The second respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Srirangam Police Station has produced the detenu and they have been identified by the petitioner. 4.

Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition deserves to be dismissed.

5. In fine, this Habeas Corpus Petition deserves dismissal and accordingly is dismissed.
