This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.9 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the first respondent police, after investigation, closed the case as 'further action dropped' and filed a referred charge sheet (negative final report) before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Thus, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
