ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2023 and pass suitable orders in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.It is the grievance of the petitioner that the 3rd respondent has executed a sale agreement in favour of the petitioner for sale of the immovable properties. Based on that, a sale deed is also executed in favour of the petitioner by the 3rd respondent in respect of some of the properties. However, in respect of remaining properties, instead of selling the same to the petitioner, the respondents 3 and 4 are trying to sell the same to some third parties. Therefore, the petitioner has given representation to the official respondents on 04.03.2023, not to register any document with regard to the property in question. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3.At the outset, this Court is of the view that the very Writ Petition itself is not maintainable and the remedy of the petitioner is elsewhere and the authorities have no right whatsoever to stall any further registration, merely on the basis of the agreement said to have been executed between the parties. 2/4
4.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 27.08.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Yuva To 1.The Inspector General of Registration, No.100, Santhome High Road, Chennai-600 028.
