ORDER

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The direction was given by this Court to the Revenue Divisional Officer. In fact, the direction should have been given to the Tahsildar. Be that as it may be, vide proceedings dated 22.05.2026, the Revenue Divisional Officer has directed the Tahsildar to remove the encroachment in question by taking action under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.

2.We direct the Tahsildar, Oddanchathiram to comply with the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.With the aforesaid direction, this contempt petition is closed.
