O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the tender notification issued by the second respondent on 13.02.2026 calling upon the general public to submit their tender for putting up temporary shops, giant wheel and circus for the period between 29.03.2026 and 08.04.2026 in connection with the Panguni Festival in Thayamangalam Temple.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent has received written instructions to the effect that the survey number in which, the temporary shops were proposed to be put up is in survey number 73, which is a water body. Therefore, they have received objection letter from the concerned PWD officials raising objection for putting up the temporary shops as well as other amusement items. Hence, they have decided to recall the tender notification. 2/4

3. In view of the above said facts, nothing survives to be adjudicated in this petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
