PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the respondent No.5 as per the guidelines issued by the Honourable Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court of India in ''Lalitha Kumari Vs State of Uttar pradesh'' reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 and consequently to take action against the respondent 5 under Section 4 of the ''Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities)'' Act, 1989 for the dereliction of the duty of respondent 5 to file FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint in accordance with law withi the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take action on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner against the private respondent. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 18.06.2021 and 05.08.2021, direction was given to the petitioner to appear before the enquiry officer and co-operate with the enquiry officer to complete the enquiry.

3.Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based upon the complaint given by one Malaisamy, who is the father of the petitioner herein, a case in Crime No.486 of 2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 417 IPC has been registered against one Balamurugan and Manikandan on 09.08.2021. 4.Since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
