PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to pass appropriate order restraining the third respondent and his men from conducting temple festival of Sri Periya Amman Temple situated at Pottaloor, Pethanandarpatti village, Pavoorchatram, Tirunelveli District proposed to be held on 02.10.2018 and 03.10.2018 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 26.09.2018.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for restraining the third respondent and his men from conducting temple festival of Sri Periya Amman Temple situated at Pottaloor, Pethanandarpatti village, Pavoorchatram, Tirunelveli District on 02.10.2018 and 03.10.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has already given representation dated 26.09.2018 to the first and second respondent in this regard.

3. However, in the mean time, function has been conducted by the third respondent yesterday(02.10.2018) and today (03.10.2018) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the above nothing survives in the writ petition, since the festival is already being conducted by the third respondent. The petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy independently inaccordance with law.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
