This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.49 of 2022 from the file of the Inspector of Police, Srivilliputhur Town Police Station, Virudhunagar District to the file of the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Virudhunagar District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already investigation was completed in Crime No.49 of 2022 and the same has been closed as 'action dropped'.

3. Therefore, no investigation is pending on the file of the third respondent and as such, the transfer of investigation does not arise. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition as against the referred charge sheet.
