O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct the Dance and Song programme on 29.04.2018 from 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in front of the Arulmigu Yenamariamma Temple, situated at Veguppatti Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2.Heard Mr.RMS.Sethuraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Dance and Song " programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
