ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.09.2018 and to provide all the monetary benefits attached with his service as Chief Head Warder, Grade - II and Grade - I Warder.

2.Heard Mr.C.M.Arumugam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The case of the petitioner is that though he was given promotion as Chief Head Warder by proceedings, dated 04.09.2018 by the second respondent, the monetary benefits for the said promotion has not been paid to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 06.09.2018. Since the same has not been considered so far by the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be taken into consideration on merits.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.09.2018 seeking monetary benefits and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all the required parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
