ORDER

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

3. The petitioner based on the assignment patta in patta No.227/99, dated 30.04.1990 has sought for computerised patta to be issued to him by effecting necessary mutation in the digital records. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation on 20.03.2024. The petitioner only seeks to dispose of the said representation.

4. Considering the above, it would suffice to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
