: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the persons or body of the petitioner's son-in-law namely J.Muthupandi, Son of Jeyaraj, aged about 24 years and Sukanya, D/o.Gunasekaran, aged 22 years before this Court and set them at liberty. [Order of the Court was made BY V.DHANAPALAN, J.] Heard Mr.S.Muniyandi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Ramar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
2. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the persons or body of the petitioner's sonin-law namely J.Muthupandi, Son of Jeyaraj, aged about 24 years and Sukanya, D/o.Gunasekaran, aged 22 years before this Court and set them at liberty.
3. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition is taken up for admission, Mr.A.Ramar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the detenues, by names, J.Muthupandi, Son of Jeyaraj, aged https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
about 24 years and Sukanya, D/o.Gunasekaran, aged about 22 years, have been arrested in connection with a case in Crime No.249 of 2014, on the file of the Alangiyam Police Station, Dharapuram, under Sections 454, 380 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and they have been remanded to judicial custody by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Dharapuram, Tiruppur District, on 16.12.2014.
4. In view of the above, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would request this Court that recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, the present Habeas Corpus Petition may be disposed of, leaving the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum.
5. In the light of the above, recording the above submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Hebeas Corpus Petition is disposed of, leaving the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
