Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission for cultural event namely Innisai Katcheri scheduled to be held on 17.05.2018 and Giramiya Kalai Nigalchi scheduled to be held on 18.05.2018 at night 07.00 to 12.00 hours in connection with "Kodai Vizha" in Arulmigu Sri Adaikalam Katha Ayyanar Temple at Malaiyadipudhur, Nanguneri Taluk, Thirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 16.04.2018 and 24.04.2018. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to grant permission for cultural event namely Innisai Katcheri scheduled to be held on 17.05.2018 and Giramiya Kalai Nigalchi scheduled to be held on 18.05.2018 at night 07.00 to 12.00 hours in connection with "Kodai Vizha" in Arulmigu Sri Adaikalam Katha Ayyanar Temple at Malaiyadipudhur, Nanguneri Taluk, Thirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 16.04.2018 and 24.04.2018. 2.Heard Mr.M.Maharaja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

made clear that the "Innisai Katcheri" and "Giramiya Kalai Nigalchi" programmes shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m. 4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
