ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay monthly pension and arrears of pension from the year 2007 to the petitioner based on her representation, dated 17.03.2008.

2.Heard Mr.G.Gomathi Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Sathyasingh, learned counsel, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as the petitioner's representation, dated 17.03.2008, requesting the respondents to grant her arrears of pension from the year 2007 and to pay monthly pension, has not been considered for years together, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be taken into consideration on merits.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.03.2008 with regard to monthly pension and arrears of pension and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
