This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner village temple festival of Ärulmigu Sri Maha Mariamman Kovil"which will be held on 29.04.2018 to 01.05.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 23.04.2018 to the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner's village temple festival of Ärulmigu Sri Hama Mariamman Kovil"which will be held on 29.04.2018 to 01.05.2018. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the

respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 29.04.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
