ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks change of patta. The petitioner's would contend that property was originally gifted to one Society. The Society has become defunct. The property is in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner. For this reason, the petitioner seeks change of patta. 3.I cannot go into the merits of the matter. The third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry into the petitioner's request and give a disposal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. All the interested parties shall be put on notice. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
