This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the cultural function viz., "Karakattam & Music Orchestra" during the temple festival of "Arulmegu Sri Therkku Ilaiyammuthoor Perumal Kovil" at Perumal Kovil Street, Therkku Ilaiyamuthu, Poolam Panchayat, Naguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District on 01.05.2018 at night 08.00 p.m. to 02. a.m. and 02.05.2018 08.00 p.m. to 02.00 p.m. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2018. 2.Heard Mr.A.Sivasubramanian , learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Karakattam & Music Orchestra" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
