praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records relating to the impugned Transfer Order No. Admin/A3/15688/2025 dated 16.07.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same as being illegal, directing the Respondents to reinstate the Petitioner at Tirupparankundram Branch of TNSTC (Madurai) Ltd.

ORDER

The petitioner, who is working as a Conductor, has been transferred from Thirupparankundram Branch to Thiruppuvanam Branch, by the order impugned in this writ petition dated 16.07.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been transferred, pursuant to a general complaint made as against the Conductor in Thirupparamkundram Depot. The Branch Manager has transferred the petitioner for the purpose of fair enquiry on the alleged complaint. He further claims that the petitioner has also co-operated for 2/6

the enquiry and during the enquiry, it was found that the petitioner is an innocent and he is in no way connected with the allegations made in the complaint. Even after that, the Branch Manager, who transferred the petitioner from Thirupparamkundram Depot to Thiruppuvanam Depot, has not considered the case of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation and also filed this writ petition, challenging the order of transfer dated 16.07.2025.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent Transport Corporation submits that the petitioner has joined the duty at Thiruppuvanam Depot and now, he is also serving there. According to him, this writ petition cannot be maintained at this stage on the grounds raised by the petitioner.

4. This Court considered the rival submissions made.

5. The petitioner claims that he has been transferred on certain complaint made against him and an enquiry was also conducted by the Branch Manager and during the enquiry, it was found that he is innocent and he is in no way connected with the allegations made in the 3/6

complaint. However, the case of the petitioner was not considered by the respondent/Branch Manager.

6. In the event, if there is no fault on the part of the petitioner, the respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner sympathetically for accommodating him either at Thirupparamkundram Depot or at a nearby place.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 27.02.2026 ogy Index : Yes / No.
