ORDER

The present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court made in W.P(MD)No.16228 of 2022, dated 11.12.2023, wherein this Court has directed the Transport Corporation to consider the calculation memo filed by the writ petitioner, verify the same and thereafter, disburse the eligible balance amount, if any, within a period of six (6) weeks.

2. Now, it is brought to the notice of the Court that the Transport Corporation has passed an order on 18.01.2024 informing the writ petitioner that the balance amount to be paid to the petitioner is Rs.6,950/- (Rupees Six Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Only) and they have also enclosed the cheque for the said amount. Therefore, this Court is of the opinion that the order of this Court has been complied with. In case, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the order, dated 18.01.2024, he is at liberty to challenge the same in a manner known to law.
