ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that there appears to be an UDR error. If that be so, the authority competent to correct the same will be the jurisdictional District Revenue Officer.

3.The petitioner is permitted to file an appropriate petition before the District Revenue Officer, Karur. As and when it is received, it shall 2/4

be taken on file and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months thereafter. The interested parties including the private respondent herein will have to be necessarily heard before the final order is passed. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4.With this direction to the District Revenue Officer, Karur this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 14.03.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No MGA Note: Registry is directed to mark a copy of this order to the District Revenue Officer, Karur.
