ORDER

Heard Mr.C.Venkatesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioner, who is an employee of the society, has been placed under suspension, by order dated 26.04.2017, on the ground that certain discrepancies have been committed by him in disbursement of the crop loan. The petitioner would submit that he has not been paid subsistence allowance and the suspension is a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

prolonged suspension. In this regard, the petitioner had submitted a representation to the second respondent on 15.11.2017 for revoking the order of suspension.

3. Since the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of the counsel on either side, no positive direction can be given. However, taking note of the fact that a representation is pending before the second respondent, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.11.2017 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
