ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider and promote the petitioner as B.T Assistant (Science) in the Panchayat Union Middle School, North Semapudhur, Kovilpatti Union, Tuticorin District, as per the proposal forwarded by the second respondent, dated 07.03.2019.

2.Heard Mr.V.Panneer Selvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the proposal sent by the second respondent on 07.03.2019, with regard to the promotion of the petitioner, the same has not been considered by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner has also sent a representation to the respondents on 11.03.2019 requesting to promote him as B.T Assistant. yet by the respondents. So, the petitioner is before this Court seeking appropriate directions to the respondents. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be taken into consideration on merits.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the proposal forwarded by the second respondent, dated 07.03.2019 and also the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.03.2019 seeking to promote him as B.T. Assistant (Science) and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
