PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime no. 58 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to Judicial Custody on 17.09.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act 1985 and Sections 25(1A) and 7 of the Arms Act in Crime No.58 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed a direction to the Court below to complete the trial of the case in C.C.No.60 of 2020, within a time frame.

CRL OP(MD)No.4857 of 2021 3.Taking into consideration of the above submission and also period of incarceration, this Court directs the Principal Special Court for EC & NDPS Act cases, Pudhukottai, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.60 of 2020, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
