This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.421 of 2018 and to file Final Report.

2.There is no representation for the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the case was registered in the year 2018 and the same was closed in 2018 itself. He further submits that there is no records available in the file about the RCS notice served on the complainant.

4.Recording the said submission, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to serve the RCS notice along with the final report to the petitioner herein, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also at liberty to file a protest petition before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, if so advised. If any such application is filed, the same has to be considered 2/4

as per the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Bhagwat Singh vs. Commissioner of Police and another, reported in (1985) 2 SCC 537.
