ORDER

Heard Mr.R.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation dated 24.04.2018 seeking old age pension has not been considered by the respondents till date and therefore, has filed the present writ petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the third respondent, to whom the petitioner gave representation, is not the competent authority and the competent is the Tahsildar, Madurai East, Madurai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In this connection, the petitioner is granted liberty to make an appropriate application before the Tahsildar, Madruai East, Madurai District, seeking old age pension. On receipt of the same, the Tahsildar, Madurai East, Madurai District, shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
