ORDER

It is an application, seeking a direction to the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members pursuant to the representation dated 06.07.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

respect of the complaint preferred by this petitioner, a case has been registered against the accused persons in Crime No.93 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 120 (b) IPC and 4 of the Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. It is also submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 06.07.2016 is pending with the respondents. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondents are directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 06.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
