ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to expeditiously complete the investigation and file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate, Nilakottai in Crime No. 251 of 2024 on the file of the third respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, the present FIR has been registered. However, without conducting proper investigation the case is still pending. Hence, this petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 251 of 2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 115(2). 118(1), 351(2) and 49 ofBNS The investigation is completed and the final report is also made ready . Hence, he seeks 15 days time to complete the investigation and to file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Court. 2/4
4.Recording the same, the third respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
