O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to appoint the petitioner in the post of B.T.Assistant in English in the existing vacancies in Government High Schools, based on her qualification in the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET-2013) - Paper I and II and subsequent certificate verification dated 07.05.2014 conducted by the second respondent, based on her representation dated 27.07.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. By

consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that she has completed M.A., (English) degree and also passed TET exam in the year 2013. Thereafter, she was issued with the call letter by the second respondent for certificate verification and the petitioner has also attended the same. Thereafter, the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of B.T.Assistant in English in the existing vacancies in any of the Government High School, was not considered by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 27.07.2018 to the respondents and the same is pending till date without any consideration. Therefore, this writ petition has been filed seeking the aforementioned relief. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders be passed by the first respondent.

5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
