Writ Petition is filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 28.08.2025 against the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.1591056/2023/C3 dated 20.06.2025 within a time frame stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is innocuous. The petitioner's application for renewal of licence was refused. The petitioner has therefore, filed a statutory appeal before the first respondent and the same is pending. The petitioner is praying that the appeal be disposed of. 2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that if ample time is granted, the appeal will be disposed of. 3.In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:

(i)the first respondent shall take up the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 28.08.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, by duly hearing the petitioner also, in any event, not later than 2 months from the date of receipt of web copy order.
