ORDER
With the consent of the counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner, having purchased the subject lands in the year 2007 and patta also being mutated in his favour, has made an application for survey on 26.07.2023. Since no steps have been taken by the 2/4
respondents, the petitioner has also sent a reminder on 14.11.2024 and thereafter also, there being no action taken, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Considering the limited relief available to the petitioner in the present writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conduct a survey based on the petitioner's application dated 26.07.2023, on merits, in accordance with law and after hearing the objections of any other interested parties, if any. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
