O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed by a former employee of the third respondent Co-operative Society, challenging a communication of the second respondent to the third respondent.
2. A perusal of the impugned communication, dated 15.12.2022, reveals that the second respondent has called for particulars of annual accounts for the period between February 2018 and November 2019. 2/5
3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, these amounts have already been remitted by the third respondent Society to the second respondent and therefore, the second respondent has unnecessarily called for details from the third respondent.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that since the particulars are not available with the second respondent, a query has been raised.
5. This Court is of the considered opinion that the third respondent has to give a suitable reply to the second respondent with regard to the queries raised by the second respondent. A perusal of the typed set of papers reveals that the third respondent has sent a communication to the second respondent on 14.08.2024 that he seeks four months time to remit the amount admitting the fact that from January 2019 to November 2019, the EPF amounts have not been remitted.
3/5
6. In such circumstances, the queries raised by the second respondent cannot be found fault with and there are no merits in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
