(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband namely Arunachalamoorthy, aged about 51 years son of Kulthunga Pandian before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith

2. The petitioner is the wife of the detenu. The detenu was missing from the house from 29.01.2026, therefore the petitioner lodged complaint before the second respondent and the same was registered in Crime No.78 of 2026 under 'Man Missing'. During investigation it was found that the detenu collected huge money from several persons and invested the same in a Multi Level Marketing Company, thereby he sustained severe loss and inorder to escape from the clutches from law he absconded somewhere and his whereabouts is not known. Infact the detenu himself wrote a letter dated 12.02.2026 to the Superintendent of

Police, Virudhunagar district stating that he has collected huge amount from various persons and he has invested that in the Multi Level Marketing Company and sustained heavy loss and no need to take steps to search him, therefore the detenu is not under illegal detention of one.

3. In view of the same the Habeus Corpus Petition stands dismissed.
